This has a lot of info on the new Davis center: http://performingarts.georgetown.edu/davis/
The photos are old though. Last month, when I was in D.C., the fascade was complete. It looks very nice.

Good link Diamond. Looking over the website I was a bit surprised that the theater only has 229 seats. Kind of small isn't it?
Yeah, I think it is kinda small. The original plans called for 350. I imagine there were some money/physical space constraints. That said, it is clear that the university does not plan to use this facility to host outside troops or really any events outside of the theater department. GU students have so many cultural opportunities in D.C., it doesn't make sense to occupy a teaching facility like that. So the emphasis in construction was to build a top-notch facility from the teaching end -- i.e., professional level so that students can learn how this stuff is done. Thus, the trade-off between the best experience for the students in the program versus the largest possible facility for university events tipped toward the theater students. In this context, I think it was reasonable. Also, consider that there is another theater with 100 seats plus all of the other theater facilities on campus and the theater clubs that will be competing for audience with the theater program's productions. Finally, the new b-school building is going to have large auditorium. If they are smart, it will be designed so that it can be used for music performances. The Gonda theater is designed specifically for theater NOT music. There is no music hall at GU.
